1-Hour Rug Tufting Challenge Rules
 

Design Selection

• Choose your design and send it via WhatsApp to 87853279.

• Review the rules for the 1-hour challenge or opt for the normal workshop (full payment is required for the normal workshop).
   

Terms and Conditions

• Independence: Participants must complete the challenge without external assistance.
   

Participation Steps

1. Examine Sample Rug: Familiarize yourself with the expected quality and neatness.

2. Receive a Token: Obtain a token for the next step.

3. Use the Token: Insert it into the Gashapon Machine and twist to get your Gashapon Ball.

4. Obtain and Open the Gashapon Ball: The ball contains important details about your challenge.

5. Unfold the Paper: This paper specifies the size and design of your rug.

6. Pass the Paper and Gashapon Ball to the Staff: They will confirm the rug size to be completed within one hour.
    

Rug Size Guidelines

• Small: Frame size 50x50cm

• Medium: Frame size 70x70cm
   

Materials Provided

• Tufting gun

• Monk's cloth

• 56 colors of milk cotton yarn

• Rug tufting frames

• Backing finishes

• Projectors for design sketching
   

Instructions

• Learn to Use the Tufting Gun: Receive guidance on operating the tufting gun and working on the monk's cloth.

• Practice: Try tufting a straight line and a circle.

• Setup: Choose a table; staff will assist with assembling your tufting frame.

• Design and Start Tufting: Staff will project your design, and you’ll have one hour to complete the tufting.
   

Completion and Costs

• Complete the Procedure: Ensure you finish tufting neatly within the hour.

• Free Rug: Meet the quality standards to receive the rug at no charge.

• Payment Requirement: If standards are not met, you will be charged based on frame size:

  • Small: $98 (you can continue for an additional 1.5 hours)

  • Medium: $118 (you can continue for an additional 2.5 hours)
     

Final Steps

• Backing Finish: Staff will apply the backing for your rug.

• Rug Delivery: Your finished rug will be mailed within 2-4 weeks.
   

Additional Information

• Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older due to time pressure and safety concerns.

• Liability and Agreement: Fill out the Google form to participate and acknowledge the risk of injury. The organization is not liable for any injuries.
